§1What it does
Figma's MCP server gives agents design context from Figma files so they can generate code that matches your designs. Figma hosts a remote server you connect to with your Figma account.

§2bWhen you disconnect
- Removed locallyClear the sign-in or remove the server in your MCP client (for example
claude mcp logoutorclaude mcp removein Claude Code, or log out of the server in Cursor). This only deletes the client's copy of the tokens. - Authorization revokedRevoke the grant on Figma's app-permissions page: Figma → Settings → Security → Connected apps ↗. This is what stops the refresh token; clearing the client alone is not enough.
Why both steps: OAuth token refresh in the security checklist.
§3Prompts to try
- “Implement the selected Figma frame as a React component using our design tokens.”
- “List the color variables used in this Figma file.”
